Meghan Markle is a Huge Dog Lover.
We are no longer strangers that Meghan Markle is a huge dog lover. The reason that this is apparent is that Meghan always lends a helping hand to dogs in need. Together with Prince Harry, Meghan and her family are home to two rescue dogs. In an earlier interview, Meghan mentioned that she wants to set an example for people to emulate. This example is by adopting rescue dogs. That’s why she sponsors an animal shelter in her son’s name.
Animal organization Named After Child
Just recently, the Duchess of Sussex announced that she would sponsor an animal organization. The lucky animal organization is named after the woman’s child, Archie. With the massive donation and help that Meghan puts in for the organization, it is prudent to call it after her beloved child.
As an organization, Archie works to improve the lives of animals, including dogs, especially those who are homeless. The organization even mass adopted stray dogs at the height of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The volunteers of the animal shelter knew that they had to help the animals during the crisis. This is why they never thought twice about providing help to the animals in need.
The Duchess of Sussex Said That She Will Always Help
When Meghan heard about this undertaking, she immediately gave her all-out support. The Duchess of Sussex said that she will always help, especially if it involves stray animals. But in a recent move, Meghan said that she wants to sponsor the entire kennel for good.
For Meghan, she is doing this because the woman saw the need for additional support for the kennel. Additionally, she knows the shelter’s struggles in making both ends meet for all the animals under its care.
According to Meghan, her sponsorship is her way of easing the burden for the kennel. The donation that the Duchess of Sussex gave is enough to help the kennel survive in the middle of the pandemic.
