3 Games Played To Cut Bordom
Living under quarantine is difficult for us humans. It means we have to say goodbye to our usual way of life. Instead, we need to adapt to doing everything at home, from work to recreation. That is just what these dogs did with the 3 games they played to stave off boredom.
But we’re not the only ones who bear the brunt of an imposed lockdown. Our canine companions suffer from this new normal as well. The worst thing is they do not have the words to express their dismay over the whole situation.
That’s why we have to be doubly creative as dog parents. We need to keep our doggos amused within the confines of our homes. Or else they might lose their minds and start thinking they are cats or lizards.
The dogs in our featured video are lucky enough to have a doting human hellbent on keeping them sane under quarantine. See these dogs’ playtime activities below.
Alpha Sets The Rules:
There are three dogs in the video. Their leader is the golden retriever Charlie. Charlie’s the house’s alpha dog.
But that does not mean he’s allowed to cheat in the games. Everyone’s on an equal footing when it comes to playtime. And today, the dogs get to participate in three games.
The first game the dogs play is called “treat race.” The rules are simple. The first to finish a trail of treats wins.
When you think of, there’s no loser when it comes to this game. After all, the dogs get to eat delicious treats.
The second game the dogs play is called “toilet paper challenge.” You can only stage this game with your dogs if you happen to be a toilet paper holder. Basically, you have to put rolls of toilet paper on top of each other to test how high your dog can jump.
The dogs have to jump over four layers of toilet paper rolls. None of them succeeds.
The last game they play is “treat catching.” Again, there’s no way to lose in this game, so everyone’s happy.
