Finding her forever home was easy, for the sweet dog because of a social media post.
The adorable dog with a unique heart-shaped patch of hair looked like the image of a certain Border Collie that had been going around on social media. An animal shelter in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma had shared the picture of this unique dog.

According to Fox23 News, this picture was shared over 27,000 times.
There were hundreds of responses about this uniquely marked dog. However, one family, in particular, put in the extra effort to get the dog.
They started 27 hours before the canine was eligible to be adopted, which, was 8:30 am on Wednesday morning. The excited and hopeful Tulsa family were waiting outside the shelter in the parking lot, waiting for it to open.
The website info stated that adoptions are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Also, all strays must be kept at the shelter at least 5 days before an adoption can proceed. Consequently, the family was waiting in the shelter parking lot. The night before.

There are many pets that the Broken Arrow Animal Shelter take care of and still need homes for. According to Fox23 News, 50 dogs and cats are without a home.
